2026 will mark the third year of the Innovator Founder Visa – a time when all founders from the first six months will reach the point of either applying for the same business Visa or ILR. In our experience, many applicants leave preparation for the application far too late.
Whilst there are also a great number who are progressing well (most often, working with us directly), we are always concerned by the number of applicants who leave preparation way too late. This leads to a high level of stress, resulting from concerns that they have not achieved sufficient progression against their last endorsed plan.
The result is simple – start to plan as early as you possibly can. In a perfect world, you started planning for this date from the day you received your endorsement – but that's not usually the case!
