London-based fashion designer Ziyad Buainain has been named a finalist for the prestigious Fashion Trust Arabia Prize in the Evening Wear category—a significant milestone for his emerging luxury brand.
The Saudi-born designer, who earned his MA in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni Milan, creates pieces that balance strength with delicacy through a subtle surrealist lens. Working from his London studio, Ziyad crafts each garment from dead stock, recycled, and responsibly sourced fabrics, setting a new standard for mindful luxury. His international upbringing across Tokyo, New York, Milan, and London informs designs where tradition meets the unexpected, and structure flows into fluidity.
