As we close out 2025, we're taking a moment to say thank you to every founder, innovator, and entrepreneur in our community.

This year, you've shown up, built businesses, supported each other, and achieved remarkable things: from award wins at international fashion events to launching movements that are changing lives.

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, we hope you're able to enjoy some well earned downtime. You've worked incredibly hard, and rest isn't optional. It's essential.

Building a business in a new country is demanding. Navigating visa requirements while trying to grow adds another layer. So please, step away from the spreadsheets, close the laptop a bit earlier, and give yourself permission to rest.

Thank you for being part of this community. Thank you for your trust, your questions, your feedback, and your willingness to support fellow founders even when facing your own challenges.

This will be our last newsletter until 2026. In addition, there will be limited updates on innovatorpulse.com. So, here's to a peaceful festive season and a 2026 that brings you closer to your goals.

See you in the new year!

Seven Months of Visa Uncertainty, Four Years of Building

Vamshi's deep-tech company, Avalon Artificial Intelligence, began with a simple question: "We already have cameras everywhere. Why not give them a brain?" Four years later, his team of eight is processing video across hundreds of cameras nationwide, generating £200k in recurring revenue, and eyeing a £1M milestone. But the journey nearly derailed during a seven-month visa transition that felt like "driving at high speed while constantly checking if the fuel tank is empty."

What made the difference? Mentorship that mattered. An email from Richard that changed his entire approach. Karen's steady guidance through business planning and investor expectations. That first Innovator International event at The Shard, where intimidation turned into genuine welcome and long-term collaborations.

As Vamshi puts it: "With Innovator International, our journey moved ten times faster. Without them, our story would have been completely different." After seven years in the UK, he's found his home in Yorkshire — and his business is just getting started.

The Real Guide to British Christmas Markets 🎄
