Our collaboration with Venture Café continues!
Over the past year, we’ve loved bringing our community together through events that create space for founders to connect, share experiences and build relationships beyond the usual conversations around business plans and applications.
This summer, we’re continuing that journey with two more opportunities to meet our wider founder community, with events taking place in both London and Manchester. Building a business in a new country isn’t just about understanding the systems, the paperwork or the opportunities, it’s about finding your people.
We’ve seen time and time again that some of the most valuable moments happen when founders get the chance to sit together, exchange ideas and share the challenges and wins that come with building something from the ground up.
That’s exactly what these events are about.
Thursday 23rd July @ 6pm || Manchester
Growing Northern Food Futures: Manchester’s AgTech Pioneers
Firstly, we’ll be heading north for another exciting evening with Venture Café Manchester.
We’re proud to be sponsoring the food at Growing Northern Food Futures: Manchester’s AgTech Pioneers on Thursday 23 July, an event celebrating the entrepreneurs and innovators shaping the future of food, agriculture and sustainability.
Hosted at SISTER in Manchester, the evening will bring together founders, investors, researchers and innovators working across one of the UK’s most exciting emerging sectors.
James Roach will be there representing Innovator International, joining conversations around entrepreneurship, innovation and the importance of building strong founder communities across the UK. Do come and say hi if you see him!
For members of our community based in the North, this is a brilliant opportunity to meet people outside your immediate network, discover what’s happening in Manchester’s growing innovation ecosystem and connect with other founders building ambitious ventures.
When: Thursday 23 July 2026
Time: 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Where: SISTER (Renold Building), 32a Altrincham Street, Manchester, M1 7JR

Thursday 13rd August @ 6pm || London
Building Your Future in the UK: From Visa to Venture
Then, the big one - on Thursday 13 August, we’ll be joining Venture Café London and Tech Nation for an evening of conversations, founder stories and networking.
Taking place at 1 Triton Square, London (where we hosted Building Your Business in Britain at the end of May), the event will bring together entrepreneurs, innovators and members of our own Innovator International community.
While the evening will include conversations around the Innovator Founder Visa and Global Talent Visa routes, the focus goes beyond the process itself. It’s about the people behind these journeys: the founders building companies, creating opportunities and establishing their place here in the UK.
For our existing clients and community members, this is a chance to expand your network, meet other entrepreneurs from different industries and connect with people who may be facing similar challenges or exploring new opportunities.
Sometimes the most useful conversation is with another founder who has recently experienced the same challenge, made a similar decision, or found a solution you hadn’t considered.
The evening will include informal networking, food, community activities and a panel discussion featuring founders who have successfully navigated their own journeys in the UK.
When: Thursday 13 August 2026
Time: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Where: Venture Café London, 1 Triton Square, London, NW1 3BF

Why these connections matter
Moving to the UK and building a business here is a journey filled with decisions, opportunities and challenges. Having the right people around you can make a huge difference.
Our community has always been one of the most valuable parts of what we do. The founders we support come from different countries, industries and backgrounds, but they share the same ambition: to create something meaningful in the UK.
For us, holding events like these give the opportunity for those connections to begin.
So whether you’re looking to meet potential collaborators, exchange ideas, learn from other founders or simply spend an evening surrounded by people who understand the journey, we’d love to see you there.
We’ll see you in London, Manchester, or hopefully both.
