Every founder's journey starts somewhere. For a lot of people it begins with a quiet thought: "I wonder if I could build my business in the UK?" It might arrive during a late-night search, a conversation with a friend or a moment when your current plans suddenly feel a bit too small. Whatever the spark, it usually leads to the same next step, which is trying to work out what the Innovator Founder Visa actually involves.
That is exactly what our next free webinar is designed for. On Wednesday 14 October at 10:30am, we are running a session for anyone who is thinking about opening a business in the UK, or considering the Innovator Founder Visa at some point in the future.
Why this session, and why now
We know the visa route can seem complicated from the outside. There is a lot of information out there, but finding something that is accurate, up to date and genuinely helpful is not always easy. Some of it is out of date, some of it contradicts itself, and some of it assumes you already know the basics.
This session starts at the beginning. If you have been reading about the route for weeks and still feel unsure where to begin, or if you have only just started wondering whether it could be right for you, this is the place to get your bearings.
Straight answers from an Endorsing Body
Innovator International is an experienced Endorsing Body licensed by the UK Home Office. We appreciate that deciding whether to move your business, and perhaps your life, to another country is a big decision, and we want you to make it with the right facts in front of you.
That is the purpose of this webinar. It will help you understand what the visa route is, what you need to do to prepare and how to apply. By the end of the hour, the aim is that you will be in a much better position to decide whether this is the right option for you.
And if the answer turns out to be "not yet" or "not for me", that is still a useful outcome. A good decision made with clear information is always better than a hopeful one made without it.
Bring your questions
One of the things our community tells us they value most is the chance to ask questions directly, rather than trying to decode them from a webpage. This session is no different. There will be an opportunity to put your questions to the Innovator International experts, so if something has been nagging at you, write it down and bring it along.
You do not need to arrive with a perfectly polished question. If all you have is "I'm not sure where to start", that is a perfectly good place to start from. The chances are that someone else on the call is wondering the same thing.

All of those are good reasons to join us.

A little preparation goes a long way. Before the session, it can help to jot down a few notes about your business idea, where you are in your thinking and the questions you would most like answered. That way, when the opportunity to ask comes around, you will know exactly what you want to say.
