We like to give you plenty of notice when something changes, so here it is. Our AI session, which had been planned for November, is being postponed until January. In its place, on Wednesday 25 November, we will be running a one-off session on a subject that has been coming up again and again.

We will share the January date as soon as it is confirmed, and the AI session will be well worth the wait. But first let's discuss the amended webinar session.

Why the change?

Over recent weeks, we have noticed a lot of negative posts and news stories about the Innovator Founder Visa (IFV) route. You may well have seen them too. Low success rates. The number of applications reduced by half. Long application times.

If you are already on the route, or thinking about applying, headlines like these can be unsettling. We understand that. But many of these stories are built on outdated or incorrect assumptions, and a headline rarely has room for the full picture.

Given how important this subject is to our community, we did not want to leave it sitting in the comments sections. It deserves a proper, honest conversation, so we have decided to bring it forward into November.

What will we cover?

Richard will be hosting the session and will tackle every one of these subjects head on. We will bring updated figures, and compare them with the statistics published by the Home Office, so you can see how the numbers really stack up. We will look at the up-to-date trends, and we will share actual information from an active Endorsing Body, which is something you will not get from a news article written at a distance.

If you have read something about the route that has worried you, bring it along. No question will go unanswered.

Who is it for?

Anyone with an interest in the Innovator Founder Visa route. That includes people who are planning to apply, applicants who are partway through the process, and endorsed founders who want to understand what is happening across the route as a whole. If you want to know the truth, rather than the attention-grabbing headline, this session is for you.

The session is open to all registered members, and you will need to register through Zoom to attend.

In the meantime

If you would like to understand how our own process works before the session, our recent article on how we perform an assessment is a good place to start. It walks through each stage, from pre-application right through to the decision, and includes our current assessment times.

How do we perform an assessment?
The majority of emails we receive ask about our application process. Can we provide our opinion on an idea before the assessment? Why have I not heard anything during my assessment? Are the assessors appropriately qualified? So, we thought we would answer all of these questions for you in a
