It feels like April has come and gone in the blink of an eye, but the month ends warmer and more colourful than it started, with Britain coming into full bloom. That's also the case for Visa holders with legacy Endorsing Bodies who are no longer trading.
In the last week the Home Office have updated the list of endorsing bodies, removing Innovate in Britain and Community Business Partners. If you were previously endorsed by one of these organisations, then there is now clear guidance on the route forward, with the Home Office covering the cost of any outstanding checkpoint meetings and assessments (including a reassessment of any current endorsement).

Updates to our ILR guidance document
Carrying on with this story, we are aware that a number of Visa holders with these legacy Endorsing Bodies had been awarded an ILR endorsement and submitted their application to the Home Office. These applications have been in limbo, waiting for the current announcement. Others will be approaching the point of application for their same business or ILR endorsement.
We have recently updated our ILR guidance document to include the documents you have to include when submitting your application. You can view this document below:

April Events - Recap
Last month, we held two key live webinars covering our Executive Guides (certainly a service worth looking into if you've been affected by the above endorsing body updates) and What is Innovation. You can catch up on both of these now:

Upcoming Events
Although April was packed with live webinars we aren't slowing down and May is just as busy. A big one for us is the event on the 20th of May where we help you make sure you're ready to get the most from our big event on the 26th.
To ensure you don't miss attending any here are the details.

... and if you've been sitting on the fence about our London event, now is the time to get off it.
Building Your Business in Britain 2026 is happening on Tuesday 26th May, at 1 Triton Square, Regent's Place, London — from 2pm until 6pm. Tickets are free, approval is required and only a handful of places remain.
The afternoon brings together international founders, immigration specialists, investors, and supply partners for a panel session, open networking, pizza, and a bar. The conversations that change your business don't happen on webinars, they happen in rooms like this one.
If you are building in the UK, thinking about it, or somewhere in the middle then this is exactly the right room to be in on a Tuesday afternoon.

Our Founder Stories
This month, we're sharing a story that starts with a broken washing machine.
Carina Chen arrived in the UK in 2017 as an international student — confused, cautious, and largely guessing her way through the private rental market. The rules existed. The protections existed. Nobody had made them understandable.
Years later, faced with a landlord ignoring a repair request, she researched her rights, sent a formal email, and had it resolved within a week. Standing in that flat, she had one clear thought: why does no one explain this clearly?
That question became HelloTenant — a platform built to help renters understand the UK system before things go wrong, not after.
