A quick recap

If you're thinking ahead to extending your visa, "considerable progress" is a phrase that tends to come up a lot, as well as causing a fair bit of head-scratching. It's one of those requirements that sounds straightforward until you try to work out exactly what it means for your own business. How much growth counts? What evidence actually lands well? And does it look different depending on whether you're extending with the same business or applying for ILR?

These are the kinds of questions we hear regularly from founders in the run-up to their extension, and they're exactly what next week's session is designed to discuss.

What we'll cover

We'll walk through how progress is actually assessed against your most recently endorsed business plan, and what that comparison looks like in practice. We'll also talk about the kind of evidence that genuinely demonstrates meaningful growth, as opposed to evidence that looks good on paper but doesn't tell the full story, and where founders often trip up when pulling this together. Alongside that, we'll cover how the requirements shift depending on your route, so you can walk away with a clearer sense of what applies to your own situation.
